Joseph Meerbott has been constructing bronze, metal sculptures, and ceramics for over 30 years. Schooled at Florida Atlantic University, with a BA in Fine Arts, his education covers a broad spectrum of artistic mediums. Influenced by the works of Picasso to Matisse, Meerbott sculptures embody the spirit of Pop Art. In his personal style, Meerbott transforms acclaimed two-dimensional post-modern works into dynamic three-dimensional sculptures. The results are instantly familiar yet firmly unique pieces of modern art. Joseph Meerbott utilizes welded aluminum as well as bronze for the creation of his sculptures. Meerbott uses urethane-based enamels to allow for his works to be exhibited in all locations, both indoor and outdoor. The sculptures themselves range in size, from the intimate to the grandiose and can be built to site-specific requirements.
